The current season 26 of Big Brother just feels different. There are so many different controversies taking place. Angela, in particular, has been so unpredictable that fans felt like she was a scripted houseguest put in by CBS.
As hardcore fans know, the streams are very different to what fans see on television. It has been said in the past that CBS has a tendency to make certain houseguests look better than they are due to the edit given. On X this season, we've seen multiple examples. The recent one came with a user calling out Tucker for a specific moment in the house.
The feeling was that production gave him a break. Given the fan response to the tweet, Tucker deserved every second of the pass he got from the Big Brother production team.
Fans On X Spotted Tucker Napping In The Big Brother House, But Not Getting Flak For It By The Production Team
Looking at the activity on X during the current Big Brother season, both Angela and Tucker have been the most frequently trending houseguests. Both have caused controversy but, at the same time, have made for great TV. They have both done so in different ways. Angela made herself a target after "bullying" Matt out of the Big Brother house. As for Tucker, fans love his gameplay behind the scenes, reminiscent of an old school Big Brother player who isn't afraid to call others out.
However, it seems like fans took exception to one particular moment during the live feeds. Tucker was caught napping, which isn't allowed during certain parts of the day by the Big Brother production crew. An X user spotted it, and felt like he was given a break. Under usual circumstances, the producer would tell the contestant to wake up.
Although the tweet got a lot of attention online, most fans weren't bothered at all. Instead, it was the opposite reaction, as most felt as though Tucker was deserving of some rest given all the work that he's putting in this far during the season.
Fans wrote:
- "Because he works overtime and gives us fun feeds when he is well rested. He did more today than half the cast has done all season let the boy nap."
- "They allowed Angela a few naps too once it becomes a concern that someone isn’t getting enough sleep and it could potentially be effecting their mental health that takes priority."
- "This guy is serving. He is giving content to production. They know he will cause more chaos when he is well rested so they let him rest. #BB26"
- "Let the king sleep."
The reaction among fans is unanimous. The man deserves his sleep!
It Wasn't The Only Time During Season 26 That The Big Brother Production Team Got Called Out
It seems like fans are enjoying the production team call-outs, and the same held true for current HOH, Cedric. A clip went viral showing the houseguest upset over the production team switching cameras if he talked straight into it.
Cedric and fans don't appreciate the show discouraging this type of talk, especially given that it gives fans a chance to get up close with a certain houseguest.
The general feeling is that talking to the cam might take away from DR talks, while not allowing things to flow naturally on the live streams. Fans also argue that the same treatment isn't given to everyone in the house. Kenny was used as an example. The houseguest wasn't cut for talking straight into the camera, discussing his family.
There seems to be drama all over the house this season!
